For the overseas traveler, we have programs to suit various needs:

Volunteer Missionary Travel Insurance®
Travel Insurance for the volunteer who has US major medical insurance in place for the duration of their trip. The coverage includes overseas medical reimbursement, evacuation, disability, property and an assistance service. The short-term traveler typically uses this product.

PLP® Travel Medical Insurance
(A&AI's Missionary specific enhanced version of Outreach)
Travel medical insurance for persons traveling outside their country of citizenship who need a higher medical limit. There are two plans to choose from depending on citizenship:

PLP America® - for Non-U.S. Citizens traveling outside their country of citizenship
PLP Plus® - for US Citizens traveling overseas.

Global Mission Medical Insurance
Designed for the career missionary who will typically serve on an overseas assignment for 2-4 years, return to the USA for furlough or deputation and then return to their overseas assignment. This insurance is annually renewable and has higher deductible options and provisions for furlough time.

For the missionary doing work in the USA & Canada:

USA Volunteer Missionary Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance for the volunteer who has US major medical insurance in place for the duration of their trip. The coverage includes medical reimbursement and an accident benefit.

For the missionary with temporary US Medical Insurance needs:

Short Term US Medical Insurance
For the US Citizen who is waiting to be covered on a permanent medical insurance policy. This short term US Medical Insurance Coverage is for a period of one to six months with some renewal options and limitations.
