ANNOUNCEMENTS
On March 17th, several A&AI staff members joined Joanne Listrom and family for dinner in Richmond, VA, to celebrate the life and contributions of her late husband, Don Listrom. At the time of his death, Don was the Director of Client Relations for A&AI, and prior to that he was the Director of Missionary Benefits at the International Mission Board (SBC), where he retired after 40 years of service. Not only was Don a valuable member of our organization, he was a very close friend to all of us, and we miss him dearly. Hal Adams presented a plaque to Mrs. Listrom in his honor to commemorate the naming of a room at the International Mission Board’s Missionary Learning Center in Rockville, VA.
On April 15th, a similar presentation was made to Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Moore over dinner. Dr. Moore placed a call to Hal Adams in 1976, inquiring about property insurance on his medical equipment as he was equipping a clinic in Africa. It was this call that eventually led to the forming of A&AI, and we consider Dr. and Mrs. Moore our first clients. They also received a plaque commemorating the naming of a room in their honor at the Missionary Learning Center.
