These enhanced benefits include added coverage for the sudden reoccurrence
of a pre-existing condition. PLP® can be written on a group or individual
basis and has flexible coverage terms.
PLP® TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE
PLP Plus®
- for US Citizens traveling overseas.
This plan is designed for U.S. citizens traveling outside of their country of citizenship. Coverage terms are from as little as several days (minimum premium is $25.00) and if you are traveling for 6 months or more, this plan may be renewed for up to three years, as long as overseas residency is maintained. Coverage begins on the exit date from the U.S. and ends on the return date to the U.S.. For periods of travel outside the U.S. lasting longer than 6 months there is some home country coverage to serve as a transition period to obtain health insurance in the state of residence.
PLP America®
- for Non-U.S. Citizens traveling outside their country of citizenship
This plan is designed for non-U.S. citizens traveling outside of their country of citizenship. Coverage can be obtained for several days (minimum premium $25.00) up to a maximum of twelve months. This plan can be rewritten, but is not renewable.
